COMIC BIOS
Kayleigh Dumas, Comedian
Kayleigh Dumas is a talented young performer on the rise. She couples small town New England charm with strong joke writing and self-effacing humor that embodies what it means to be young and broke and figuring things out.
Zach Funk, Comedian
Zach Funk wants you to know it is ok to be human. He brings to the stage jokes and stories about topics like mental health, navigating life and being an over active thinker in an under thinking world. Combining equal parts heart and nerdiness Funk hopes that after seeing him perform you’ve not only laughed but also feel a little less alone in the universe. His first album Brains are Weird is on all stream platforms.
Travis Walling, Comedian
Travis Walling is a comedian from North Huntingdon, PA, just outside of Pittsburgh. He has been featured on several shows, including the DVE Loaded Show, DVE Comedy Festival, and Cleveland Comedy Festival. His writing has been featured in “McSweeney’s Internet Tendency” and “The Hard Times”. He will also be on whatever show he wrote this bio for, ironically enough
Samantha Bentley, Headliner
Even in the 21st century, public-access television can be a launching pad. Samantha Bentley got comfortable in front of a camera via the PCTV show “Off the Grill” before co-hosts and viewers urged her to give stand-up a try. “I’ve always been told I was funny, but that doesn’t really mean anything,” Bentley says. “Funny around people, in conversation, is different than funny on stage.” Fortunately, she’s both. Winning the Pittsburgh Improv’s annual open-mic competition in 2016 turned heads; the recurring “Three Women, One Mic” series she co-founded with Tracey Williamson and Shaun McCarthy tours the region. She also has been featured at the National Comedy Center, the Pittsburgh Improv and Arcade Comedy Theater.
Derek Minto, Host
A stand-up comedian currently residing on the top of a mountain in Pittsburgh, PA, Derek has been a featured comic for the WDVE comedy festival and voted best comic in the City Paper Best of the Burgh in 2016. In 2020, Derek recorded his first comedy album, ‘Live from Lawerenceville’s Finest Ham Themed Bar’ inside Hambone’s during the Covid lockdown. Derek has opened for Hannibal Burgess, Todd Glass, John Heffron, and Amy Schumer once drunkenly told him he was very funny. Derek has traveled the United States doing comedy but still finds any city without fries on their salad gross.
