COMIC BIOS
Alan Olifson is an award-winning humor columnist, comedian and was the regular host of Pittsburgh's monthly Moth StorySlam. He created the acclaimed storytelling series Wordplay at Bricolage theater and now produces the new storytelling/talk show Speakeasy with Arcade Comedy Theater as well as Story Club at City of Asylum. His book, Manchild: My Life without Adult Supervision from Six Gallery Press is available wherever you buy books - hopefully somewhere local.
Adam is a comic and sketch writer out of Baltimore. Through fast rise in the DC/Baltimore comedy scenes, he has already gone on to perform renowned venues around the country including The Comedy Store, The Stand, and Second City. You can often see him opening at clubs and theaters for comedians such as Modi, Anthony Devito, and others.
Even his Rabbi follows him.
Zivan Vasquez, a praised "beautiful child of color," blends non-sequiturs and rapid quips on topics from minority kid's books, nonbinary Klansmen, and where all his money goes (spoiler alert: it's comic books). A Pittsburgh-based/Houston-born scientist-turned-comedian with a degree in physics, he's opened for Randy Feltface, Jo Firestone, Fabrizio Copano, and Robbie Hoffman. Recent triumph: winning Pittsburgh's One-Liner Madness and cutting his bio short.
Kimberly is proud to have grown up in Pittsburgh and is excited to be a part of the city’s comedy community. She is a lawyer, who proudly doesn’t own a suit (and has never seen Suits). Her therapist is proud of her for using comedy to process her feelings.
A founding member of Loose Cannon Comedy, Mike DiGuglielmo dabbles in stand-up, podcasting and other dumb web content. Making good on a New Year’s resolution, Mike has been performing stand-up in and around Pittsburgh since 2014. On top of producing and hosting the long-running “Obey House Comedy Hour (and a Half)” stand-up show at the Obey House Tavern, Mike has performed at various non-dive-bar venues, including Arcade Comedy Theater and the Pittsburgh Improv. It’s okay if you mispronounce his last name. Most people do.
Derek Minto, Host
A stand-up comedian currently residing on the top of a mountain in Pittsburgh, PA, Derek has been a featured comic for the WDVE comedy festival and voted best comic in the City Paper Best of the Burgh in 2016. In 2020, Derek recorded his first comedy album, ‘Live from Lawerenceville’s Finest Ham Themed Bar’ inside Hambone’s during the Covid lockdown. Derek has opened for Hannibal Burgess, Todd Glass, John Heffron, and Amy Schumer once drunkenly told him he was very funny. Derek has traveled the United States doing comedy but still finds any city without fries on their salad gross.
