About the Musicians:

Anne Eliza is a Pittsburgh-based duo composed of pianist and vocalist Anne Celedonia and multi-instrumentalist Alex Herd. Combined with an ambient pop sound and moody lyrics, Celedonia’s soulful vocals and piano-forward melodies leave a lasting impression. They create mournful, yet somehow still upbeat refrains on their recently released record, I Wish You Well.

Rocket Loves Blue

New to the Pittsburgh music scene, newlyweds Nikki and Josh Shapiro unveiled Rocket Loves Blue in 2019. With Nikki’s classically trained powerhouse vocal approach and multi-instrumentalist Josh’s love of home production and songwriting, the two worked behind the scenes for almost 5 years before ever releasing a song or anything visual. While recently featured on both Stage AE and Chris DeMakes A Podcast’s Spotify playlists the duo describes their sound as Outlaw Americana meets Alt Country, and loves experimenting with crossing genres and obscure recording techniques. Rocket Loves Blue is currently putting together a full band line up, you can catch a soulful acoustic performance at one of the many Pittsburgh local venues or festivals before summer comes to a close.
